From DOLCE NOTTE it is a quick walk to the magnificent Arena, which dominates Piazza Bra. This historic Roman amphitheater, the best preserved in Italy, naturally has excellent acoustics and, since 1800, has found its natural vocation as an ideal venue for concerts and opera performances.
If you walk down the commercial and historic Via Mazzini, you will reach Piazza Erbe, the city's historic vital hub, which is still today the market place and was once also the political heart.
A few steps lead to the adjacent Piazza dei Signori, also known as Piazza Dante because of the poet’s statue that stands there since 1865.
